How to convert QFX to Excel

  1. 1

    Drop the QFX file

QFX files are read as they are: dates, payees, memos, amounts and IDs.

  2. 2

    Review the transactions

Edit a date, a payee or an amount, flip a sign or delete a line before converting.

  3. 3

    Download Excel

Pick the date format you need in Export settings. Any other format is one click away too.

The formats

QFX
Quicken Web Connect: the same OFX data as a .qbo file, labelled for Quicken. Quicken imports it with File › File Import › Web Connect (.QFX) File, and checks the Intuit bank ID like QuickBooks does.
Excel
An Excel workbook (.xlsx) with real dates and numbers, so sorting, filters, SUM and pivot tables work straight away. It also opens in Google Sheets, Numbers and LibreOffice.

QFX to Excel Converter: FAQ

Does it read OFX 2 (XML) files?

Yes, both the older SGML-style OFX 1.x files and XML OFX 2.x files are read.

Is my file uploaded anywhere?

No. The conversion runs in your browser: the file is read on your device and the download is built there too. It never reaches our server, so we can’t see it, keep it or lose it.

Is it free?

Yes, while BankToRows is in beta: no sign-up and no page limits.
