How to convert QFX to QIF

  1. 1

    Drop the QFX file

QFX files are read as they are: dates, payees, memos, amounts and IDs.

  2. 2

    Review the transactions

Edit a date, a payee or an amount, flip a sign or delete a line before converting.

  3. 3

    Download QIF

Pick the date format you need in Export settings. Any other format is one click away too.

The formats

QFX
Quicken Web Connect: the same OFX data as a .qbo file, labelled for Quicken. Quicken imports it with File › File Import › Web Connect (.QFX) File, and checks the Intuit bank ID like QuickBooks does.
QIF
Quicken Interchange Format, an older plain-text format with one field per line (D date, T amount, P payee, M memo). GnuCash, Moneydance and many smaller apps still import it; current Quicken for Windows only takes QIF into some account types.

QFX to QIF Converter: FAQ

Does it work with .ofx and .qbo files too?

Yes. QFX, OFX and QBO are all read the same way, so any of them converts to QIF.

Is my file uploaded anywhere?

No. The conversion runs in your browser: the file is read on your device and the download is built there too. It never reaches our server, so we can’t see it, keep it or lose it.

Is it free?

Yes, while BankToRows is in beta: no sign-up and no page limits.
